Can you syphon it off? How long was your power off?

how do I cure this brown jelly? The only dip I have is coral rx
BJD is pretty bad and fast growing disease. Siphon out any of the jelly from and around coral so it doesn’t infect others.
As I said the disease spreads quite quickly so imo, frag out the heathy part, take out the infected part out of tank and start treatment with hydrogen peroxide on the unhealthy part.
Thankfully I’ve never encountered a BJD, but one of my friends had and he treated his coral the same way. Sadly the infected part died out anyway. But at least he had a frag to carry on.
