I have a Maxijet 900 that works intermittently then randomly seized up. The ceramic shaft is intact. I gave it a good cleaning with vinegar with same result. My other pH has a broken shaft which i replaced but it rattled and push very little water. Maybe 10gph if that. What can i do to get em fixed? Pleaseeeeee help!

Sounds like a good time to replace them

Sorry to say, but it's time for a upgrade.

When they start and stop intermittently like that, with nothing stopping the impeller and shaft, their done for.

Time to replace them. If for in tank flow they suck anyways and have been out dated for the better part of 10 years. I can remember when a few MJs on a wave timer was a standard but there are so many better options now. If for a reactor or feed pump then make sure you get the Cobalt Aquatics and not the junk knock off Marineland ones. Cobalt used to make them for Marineland but about 5 years back Marineland went with another manufacturer for their pumps and they are not nearly as good.
