What do you guys think? I've had things beautiful (extremely hard to keep) Purple Queen Anthias for 18days now. They are always out swimming and looking happy. They all are fantastic eaters. I think they learned from the dispar cause i've had him for a year and he's a hog.

Beautiful! Good luck with them. I had a couple for a few weeks, but they never really ate which eventually led to their demise. Hopefully they will continue to flourish seeing as they're eating well.

Love them so much, do they acualy school together, or do some part away?

i think their is nothing pretty than a school of anthias in a display. but i know you must have a large tank to keep them. are these the hardest to keep? I know i had a sunburst forever and tehn went in one day and she disappeared on me. until i found the crabs had taken to her. It was odd because she ate great.

Thanks everyone!

M and M- yeah they are always schooling together. I've always loved anthias and i'm so glad I have a happy healthy school. hoping for the best.

aalvarado-i did some research about them and yes they are extremely hard to keep. they need feeding all the time and a variety of foods. but I really think my dispare helped in teaching them how to eat. Its said that the purple queens are found at 100ft deep and do not adapt well to aquarium lighting.

Marvin-Thanks I will get some better shots and post them up there.

Well congratulations on the success so far, I hope they work out they work out for you they truly are super nice and a off color which will make them pop in the tnak.

Trying to get one group for myself, wanting to know of is possible for them to thrive in home aquarium
