One thing I thought was a great investment was getting live rock for 5 bux a lb. now the tank is in copper now so it’s probably not live anymore. But the fish have been absolutely loving the scale the hiding places etc. Everyone is doing so well Thank is a 30g

The rock may very well be alive still - Live rock is labeled as such because of the denitrifying bacteria that has populated is surfaces. What copper kills is the rest of the stuff - Coraline, algae, tube worms, crustaceans, and other inverts which are just a bonus when thinking about the value of limerick. I'm not sure if this will give the ICH, Velvet, Flukes, others an edge who trying to survive - I wouldn't think so as the copper is in the water column and can reach them anywhere in the rock - but I do think its smart in managing the ammonia issues that most quarantine setups face because of a lack of bio filtration. Should make keeping the thee copper concentration accurate by reducing the number of water changes needed. I would be interested to hear more on results - good luck!

That was my intention. I want to mention this tank was fully cycled before the fish were added and ammonia is always daily zero with weekly water changes
