My Queen Angel is hiding

I have a Vlamingi Tang who’s been in my tank for months… we added a queen angel 4 days ago. All was great until this morning… the angel is hiding and won’t come out … I think the tang is picking on him…. Thoughts? Will they work it out at some point?

Until the aggression is less frequent .

These are incredibly hardy fish. If you can see that it is alive, then give it some time. They cannot take a constant beating from a larger fish, or anything, but they do seem to get more brave as time goes on. I imagine that it was eating well before it went into the tank and stuff?
