My Redsea Max 130d project :)

So I've been looking for a cube of any sort lately to start a acro only bare bottom tank. And Ive been patient and looking and searching. Yesterday I came across the deal of a lifetime

this thing was a wreck and dirtier than you can imagine. Scuffed up, paint chipped and scratched, calcium build up, and who knows what caked in between all the skimmer and pumps in the back. I saw potential and a deal I couldn't pass up. Today I took everything apart. Cleaned woth vinegar, razors, brushes, and scrubbers. Sanded the tank trim and whole stand. Repainted everything and put it all back together. Even came woth new pumps, lights, and fans. 100% operational! ! And I snagged the tank and stand with everything (lights,skimmer,2 pumps,heater,tank,stand,test kit) for only $50.00

couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this deal. Here are some before and after pics. Will post and update more once I fill her up!

For $50.00? Score! And came out really well- good work.
I recently a purchased a used IM 40 with stand for a good $ with skimmer, ato, 2 media baskets and a reactor.
Hopefully I can do the transfer soon.

Sounds like a great score as well! I just set mine up 2 days ago and just got my new AI Prime led in the mail today

I'm going top less lol and can't wait to transfer all my sps over as well. Unfortunately remember, patients is key :/ what we all hate waiting for

That is a nice tank I started with one of those. I then had a baby and have it in storage. Have u started it yet. And if so is the skimmer load?

Just started it 4 days ago I believe. 100% cured and all coralline algae live rock. Took 15 gallons of water from my mixed reef when I set it up as well. And just 2 days ago, I switched the lighting to the new AI prime. Instead of the compacts it came with. Still plenty more live rock to be added. But it will stay bare bottom. And yes!! The skimmer is already starting to pull a small load
