Sorry, not sure what you are asking.
We are adding Siemens breakers with SEL protective relays if you are asking about the substation work. Adding secondary breakers to my 200 MVA 500kV to 34.5kV transformers so I can have better protection.

Ah, I'm with ya. The breakers I am adding will allow me to add a new differential protection zone. This is the final stage of my upgrade project. I will have at least 2 differential zones and 2 overcurrent relays for every section of my substation. They communicate using the 61850 protocol so I went with all SEL to make this easier. I have 2 battery banks along with redundant communication networks so I can lose one complete DC power supply and still have 100% substation protection.
It is very weird and really wasn't a good idea when it was designed. My transformers are unique and I believe I still have the only 5 anywhere near this size with this voltage step. I do only need 3 to run the entire facility but it takes so long just to move them, let alone rebuild one, that I have an installed spare and then another in storage.
We have 144kv to 4160v distribution ones and they are one of a kind.
I love Sel, great company, great support. Our standard is to use 2 manufacturers in case there is a problem issue with one model.

Day 2 after adding the shrimp and still no detectible ammonia. Thinking I might toss in another shrimp or 2. The live sand may be working better than I had expected. Haven't tested for anything else yet, haven't seen a reason too. Once I start working fewer hours (hopefully tomorrow) I am going to pick up some pure ammonia and dose that to help the cycle along.

Another long day at work but somehow I found the energy to work on the plumbing. Got the returns done tonight. The drains shouldn't take very long tomorrow. Did I mention that I despise working with PVC????

Finished the drain piping today. It is green with the return plumbing being blue. Leak check tomorrow then fishing filling the tank and sump. I'll work on the electrical while making the RODI water.
Productive night even after a rough 12 hour work day. Feeling good about the way it turned out.

Sorry to hear that! We went through that years ago before I moved south. Nothing fun about it.
You should really find someone better to live vicariously through. I can't even get a shrimp to rot in my tank properly!

Is that a bears or Cubs hat I see there?The 2nd job for the evening was to bring in the tank stand. Had to majorly rearrange my office/man cave. The desk needed to move to under the TV to make room for the tank stand against the wall. One more job done.

Yes it is. I was born in Chicago and raised in the suburbs up until I joined the Navy. It's a good time in sports for me right now. Cubs are playing great and first Bears game of the season is in a few hours!
