So plumbing is almost done. Just need to add in flow meeter on the return for the FMK and put the Cepex ball valves on the manifold!

So the tank is cycling! I am using Dr Tims bacteria to cycle and dosed ammonium chloride to get the cycle going. Still have to wire/organize the electronics but at least no more time is wasted it just sitting idol. I also have to mount the slider rails to the wall behind the tank for the battery backup and power supply cradles. Will have to temporarily drain the tank into a few brute trash cans to move it tho.

Mounted the controllers for the Red Dragons. Zaffor and I are going to manage cables and clean up the wiring as it cycles.

So we have been trying to plan how we are going to mount the powersupplies to the back of the tank while still allowing them to be removable since the space behind the tank to the wall will be only 4". We know ecotech has a velcro mount but they are super expensive for just one ($15). After a bit of searching I found these which are $10 for 10 mounts and $14 for 10 straps.

So decided to go with a Calcium Reactor this time. I figured I would give it a shot, so I ordered a VERTEX RX-C 6D and a CO2 tank. I play on buying or building a High quality Dual Stage Regulator. If anyone knows where to get one or can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Well there is the CarbonDoser CO2 regulator that is top of the line and I think around $300. It's totally electronic so no counting bubbles. I have a Reef Fanatic 2 stage and I have no complaints. It adjusts fairly easily.

Another great Co2 regulator that I used on my planted aquarium is from Green Leaf Aquariums or GLA the PRO-SS line is absolutely beautiful , ten times better looking then the CarbonDoserCO2 regulator. GLA has the best customer service as well some of the best CO2 regulators in the Aquarium Industry. Here is a link to the PRO-SS versions , I have a PRO version regulator and absolutely love it.

So I got in the Calcium reactor and the 5lb Co2 tank. I ended up ordering a brand new stainless dual stage regulator (swagelok) and stainless Burkett solenoid off eBay for decent prices. So going the DIY route should end up with an extreamly high quality and much better setup then the Carbon doser for only about $100 dollars more.
