Peter, the tank is looking fantastic! Corals have grown a LOT since your last update. Any issues with the 2 Long-Nose BF's picking at your LPS? I love those fish and don't think I've ever seen two in a tank before. GREAT job on the video as well. Thanks so much for posting it!

Absolutely beautiful! I hate my aquarium when I see tanks like yours...

Hey thanks folks! Craig, long story with the YLN BF (pun intended :D ). I originally had them in a FOWLR, but I wasn't sure they were a pair. I went through a lot of trouble at a LA wholesaler trying to pick two that didn't fight with each other when placed into the same holding container. Anyway, eventually the larger one started eating flakes and pellets, but the smaller one wouldn't. The larger one started to be more aggressive to the smaller one during feeding time. Since I didn't really feed small meaty foods in broadcast form to the FOWLR I thought the smaller YLN would eventually die, so I moved him into the reef. With my heavy feedings in that tank, he quickly fattened up and grew a bit. Then I noticed the larger YLN looking a bit haggard in the FOWLR. Not sure who the problem fish was, but all other butterflies and angels in that tank looked perfect, so I decided to transfer the larger YLN to the reef. They've been fine together ever since, and neither touches a single coral. They will take food from corals, so feeding LPS is still impossible (was already impossible with the female swallowtail angel).

BTW, other than a few recently added smaller anthias, all those fish are 2-5 years with me, most closer to 5, including the white tiger goby that even makes an appearance in the cave just above the clownfish's euphyllia on the right around the 0:50 mark!

Beautiful tank and understand your pain of not being able to feed lps. I have cleaner and blood shrimp pairs that cause me the same headache. So my chalices grow really slow.

Thanks! Yup, slow growing chalices here too...

Very very nice! I love all the activity in the tank!

Feeding time is definitely more hectic than usual. If you watch at the beginning of the video, you'll notice the fish all going to the lower left corner of the tank. That's because they see me there turning the vortechs to feed mode. Then they all hurry to the upper right to receive the food LOL.

Man your tank is a beauty indeed, sorry if I missed it but how many gallons is it? Also what is your total fish count?

CONGRATS ON THE TANK HITTIN A NICKLE ENJOYED THE VIDEO NICE LOOKIN CORALS ALONG WITH HAPPY LOOKIN FISH

How big is it? I like when my fish see me go for the vortechs. They get so excited.

Thanks. My coral growth is pretty slow due to all the fish, so it's not as "grown in" as a tank can be after 5 years, but I'm ok with that. Firstly, I hate having to trim, move, remove corals due to growth. Secondly, the fish are worth it

So it is a 150 gallon DT, but what is your total water volume? What kind of skimmer, media reactors, etc are you using? Is it possible for you to give a rough estimate on the number of fish currently in your tank?

Your tank is absolutely beautiful! You are truly an inspiration to the hobby...thanks for sharing.
