So my led bulb shorted out, it was a grow light off Amazon. It never really got the cheato going. I put on a 6500k swirl bulb for temporary use until I ordered another grow light. WOW, the cheato has doubled in 1 week. One note, I am on Triton as well. The algae was going very slowly and appeared to stop under the led, which I had tried numerous ones over the last year, now I’m using the 6500k bulbs moving forward!

cheapest light available from HD. Used one for many years. Best growth.

Always worked well for me. I used a 12" coralife pc fixture and it worked great as well. I was never one to spend tons of money on a fuge light. If Im harvesting chaeto every 2-3 weeks and nutrients is being removed I'm happy.

30 more days of staying fallow. I’ve run into some issues as hair algae is growing since the tangs are out in qt. The refugium has really taken off though and month 6 of Triton is doing well for the corals.
