in my 90 gal tank with hobb filters ,for some reason all my tanks r cycling with out a nitrite reading. It is always blue , but ic I could still be in 1st stage of cycling. Use of live sand and live rock and 2 fish for cycling. Used ammonia out to detox for fish. Am setting up a sump and refugium very shorty. Will it have to cycle again?

Why would I have nitrates already in my water
You started with live rock correct? The point of a cycle is for bacteria to colonize to process the nutrients. Live rock on the otherhand is already full of bacteria and life. So your tank is basically cycled. If anything the spikes would be so minimal you prob wont even be able to tell. Ditch the ammonia out, no need for it

So just water changes to level off
Up to you, i cant really tell but does your test read ammonia? I would just keep doing water changes till things get where you want them. As long as theyre no ammonia
