Hey all, my return pump in my innovative marine 40 fusion is not working for whatever reason. I was wondering what the best pump to get was that wouldn’t break the bank. Thanks!

They look to be a Jebao OEM, maybe look at Jebao.

How old was the pump out of curiosity?

If $214.99 is not too much, I would go with the reef octopus Varios-2. If it is,

I would then go with Jaebo DCP-3000 for $58.96

the pump was maybe a year old. i got it cheap off amazon. so i now know cheap is not the best way to go with saltwater

What are you looking for? Reliability, price, or what?
i’m really looking for reliability more than price only because i’m off to college in 2 years and i don’t want my parents worrying about needing a new pump for the tank

Take at look at Ehiem 1262, Fluval SP2 or Laguna Max Flow 600 or 900. These are going to be cheaper than a decent DC pump (not Jebao) and will last a long time. Pros: tireless, long lived workhorses, cheap and low wattage. Cons: no controller or ability to change speeds (if you can even call these cons).
