Hey guy's I finally got my RSM 130D set back up after having it broken down for over 2 years, I got a fish need it 4x24 T5HO light for christmas and have a bio pellet reactor as well as 2 media reactors I still have to get setup as well as setting up a refugium and a few other misc pieces but those can wait for a bit as right now I just wanted to get the tank up and running so that I can transfer my frags from the 65 gallon reef that needs new bulbs over to this one since the frags I transferred were always intended for this tank

I picked up all of these frags locally after Christmas off of craigslist and paid under 70 dollars for all of the corals and 2 flower anemones you see

Just really setting this thread up as a progression journal so that you guys as well as myself can see the tank from beginning to the corals starting to grow and fill in

I used a few new pieces of live rock but grabed most of them from my already well established 65 gallon reef as well as 20 pounds of new live sand and 5 pounds of live sand from the 65 gallon so I dont expect there to be ANY cycle at all

Here are the first pics I have of the tank that I took today with my Iphone since my SLR is charging

My leptastrea frag, its not a very good picture because of the angle it is at in the tank and the neon green of the coral makes the white balance all screwey

Ive got some new pics of the tank, everything is doing FANTASTIC and I switched over from dosing multiple items from Brightwell Aquatics to only dosing B-Ionic 2 part and Vinegar and TBH my corals have NEVER looked better in any reef tank I have had over the last 15 years

This mushroom just produced a little baby as well, it's a really cool mushroom as it's a nice blue color but has this green iridescent sheen to it "it's hard to get a pic of though"

My 50+ head Acan colony, it started out as a dookie brown color when it was in my buddies tank and I gave him $20 for it and put it at the bottom of my tank and now its got alternating red and neon green stripes as well as neon green centers

I am also just about ready to order a BUTT LOAD of new equipment for the tank as well as build a custom sump
I will be ordering
1) Avast Marine CS1 skimmer
2) Avast Marine swabbie skimmer neck cleaner
3) ReefAngel controller W/ extra modules
4) Vortec MP10Wes
5) Mag drive 12 "return pump for custom sump"
6) Aquamaxx CR-1 calcium reactor
7) Co2 tank and regulator
8) installing the 2 media reactors I already have
9) building a custom sump with ATO reservoir
10) 4 new ATI T5HO bulbs

So as you can see there are some BIG changes coming for my tank and to be honest I couldnt be more excited
