As of December 25th, my salinity has been way too high. My ideal salinity is 1.025 and as of the 25th, it is at 1.030. What should I do. This tank has no fish, inverts or coral in it yet but the fish are coming in a couple days so I need this fixed by then.

are you topping it off? by replacing the water evaporated with fresh water?

You could remove some of the existing tank water and replace with rodi water

Be certain it really is high and not test error.

Once convinced, replace 12% of the tank volume with RO/DI to get to 35 ppt (sg = 1.0264).

If you are trying to match the incoming salinity that the fish are at, you may need to be even lower.
