My saltwater journal.

Lets see. Decided to catch the dottyback. I was tired of the bullying. Took all of my manpower and I did a major aquascape change but I got em!
I also removed my red headed goby moved him to the 20g.

In place of the dottyback and goby is now a harptail blenny that I wanted for the 20g.

Lics coming soon. Updating my 20g thread now!

Update's from my phone are terrible i see. So many incorrect spellings!

I must say I am very impressed by the Harptail Blenny. It's very brave, there is no difference in the coloration nor is it hiding anywhere. It's front and center in the tank and pretty much doing his thing. This is my first Blenny as I am a goby-fanatic and if other blenny's are as great as this one I am going to have to get more as my tanks upgrade in the future.

Right on. Where the heck are those pics!! =)

I'll share a few pics later on today, I have to share this quick story first.

As I was spending a bit of time looking at my tank i saw a Nassarius Snail. I have two types in my tank. The small ones and the larger ones (the larger ones are rare for me to see, I had thought they died but I see one every once in a while).

So I'm looking at my small Nassarius snail going about his business, foraging for food on the sand bed; suddenly a mound erupts behind him and a larger version comes out envelops him in it's foot and then disappears back into the depths...

I'm at a lost for words.

That was pretty much my face. I think I may have the weirdest inhabitants of a tank at this point.

Na, we've all seen some pretty weird stuff going on in our tanks. Its just crazy actually reading it on paper from someone else once in awhile.

Maybe the big ones are n. obsoletus instead of n. vibex. I think the obsoletus can be predatory.

So I havent updated here in a while. I did update my older thread on another site but forgot to tell you all what happened. A friend of mine decided to use one of my water change buckets to clean the floors. We are talking, bleach, soap and water... She never told me she used it so of course I used my bucket to do a water change. I've lost a few things but Im not sure how much. On Sunday I'm going to do "inventory" and take apart the entire tank so I can see all the damage.

Sorry to hear that! :(

Yea I read that. Sorry man. Got smack some people sometimes. Send em the bill!! I hate when that happens.

I mentioned it to her and she just shrugged it off. I'll see what the real damage is Sunday and update accordingly.

Update. Pretty much a copy and paste from another sites journal.
I had the day off spent my day in the tank. Took out every single piece of rock all the sand all the fish. Everything. Gutted it.

Took the tank. cleaned it out with fresh water. Painted the back black.

Whats dead:
One Zebra Dartfish
One High-fin Goby
One Peppermint Shrimp
One Harptail Blenny
Multiple members of my CuC.

Tomorrow. I buy salt and more CuC and start all over again. With what I have left.

Two Clowns
One Tangaroa Goby
One Red-Head Goby
One Chalk Basslet
One pistol shrimp

The awkward moment when....

You have THREE Zebra Dartfish? Yeah. The missing one. Is alive and well in a bucket. Hitchhiking on rock.

I checked on my coral and other fish in an another bucket. I think my one of my Clownfish is dead. Or In extreme shock from my flashlight. I'll have an update in a few hours when I can get into that bucket.
