My saltwater tank

I'm KaiXuan from Malaysia.

I'm so glad to share my saltwater tank to all of members here. I started this tank about couple weeks ago, I'm still new in this hobby.

Tank size: 3feet x 1.5feet x 2feet (70gallons)

Live stock: Powder blue tang, Powder brown tang, Yellow tang and 2 clownfish and some corals

I hope some of you can comment of your thought, in order to allow me to learn from it.

For only being a couple of weeks old I think your tank look awesome. BTW welcome to R2R. I hope you will learn as much about this hobby as I did from this form. There is plenty of people here willing to help you out if you ever run in to a problem.

Be weary of having 3 tangs in a tank that size. They love to swim and poop. What kind of lighting are you using?

Hi nick [emoji847] currently using AI hydra 52. 3 of these tang I get free from a friend of mine. On my observation, I feel like my aquascaping is little bit too narrow, my powder blue poop a lot. But both of these tangs looks healthy.

Any suggestion nick?

Nick, you try to look at the picture, the torch from the back seems like doesn't open so much compare to the front? Hmmm, any idea why ?

Hmm... I'm not sure. I don't have much experience with them, and all I have is 1 head of Frogspawn. since the tank is only 2 weeks old, give the corals some time to settle in... Maybe try target feeding as well, that always helps new coral perk up for me.

Just curious, but how are Nitrate levels? Normally when you move an old tank, such as is your case, old detritus from under rocks and sand cause large spikes in Nitrate. LPS like a little bit of nitrate, but try to keep it under 10ppm.

EDIT: As for the tangs, I think you should be fine for a while... But they will get larger. Every species you have supposedly requires 125+ gallons at adult size. Just monitor closely for ich parasites and keep them full with plenty of dried seaweed/algae
