Can't believe I'm only 2 months in to my "little" project. I gotta say, I keep reading how a lot of people consider GSP and kenya trees to be a nuisance or "weeds", but I love mine! I want to create a little forest, lol. And I can't wait for the GSP to take over the back wall. [emoji5]️[emoji5]️

how did you wipe out that algae this looks great

it looks balanced in every way + coralline excellence

I love my gsp too. Just keep it away from the LR and it the sand once it gets a foot on the Lr is when it's a pain to get off

Thanks!
So I scrubbed the worst areas on the rock with a toothbrush and did a water change. Not sure if that's what did it or what, lol.

Looks really good and I agree I love GSP and I'm still looking for a Kenya tree . :)
Oh and I really like the open space and the clown fish

Yeah I'm keeping the GSP I purchased on it's own little rock island, and as the mat grows I trim it and glue the piece to the back wall. As much as I love it, it's not allowed on the LR.

I could not possibly be happier with this tank's progress. your initial algae control action looks so well, id have thought you chemically cheated :)

you just demonstrated to 1,114 large tank owners about to lose $$ over an algae invasion how to opt out. use or non use of chemical cheats is not the primary action, its only an amplifier. algae that is removed cannot take over

your clean up crew and nutrient controls can continue to be honed as preventatives

you opted out of algae, that's illegal in nine reefing communities by the way, just not here

I'm currently fighting a small algae problem, and we all know that small problems expand rapidly in nano tanks! I really don't want to take the rock work out, from your pictures I just may have to go that route! Looking great!

I think your tank looks great! I find enjoyment out of all types of corals and tanks.

I feel that over time our taste in livestock may change or mature. I don't buy into common hysteria over certain pieces and it's ok to enjoy whatever tickles my fancy. great tank!
