I expect most of you seasoned reefers know this already -- but, I was so impressed with the additional benefit of my skimmer -- not only removing nasty stuff -- but, also raising my pH.
I turned if off the other day and forgot to turn it back on. Today, I noticed my pH was at 8.07. When the skimmer is operating, my pH is around 8.2.
So, what's not to love about a skimmer!!!
I know, just sharing the obvious for most of you.....but, for the newbies to the hobby....this might be a nice piece of info to have when contemplating the addition of a skimmer (or not)
