My Skimmer

I bought seaClone skimmer, which is not good as all experienced hobbists said. I modified it according to instruction online,

Now, the skimmer genenerates lots of bubble breakin. See my photo

. But the bubbles are white, not dirty at all, meanwhile, the nitrate is still about 40.

Do you think the skimmer works the correct way?

how long have you been running it for? id stick ontop of your water changes until you get your skimmer figured out
