The water runs over the 6 filtersocks into the next chamber. The Rufuge (Refugium) is separate within the sump so I can regulate it with a separate pump or even take it out of the sump if I should wish to. The next cylinders are carbon and the three liters of Zeolites. Then I have the skimmer then the Red Dragon return pump and on the left the fresh water top off.

Regarding my build on this image you can see the progress of my last tank. Being a designer, I wanted my rockwork to look good right from the beginning. I forgot that the corals need room to grow. In my new build I left the rockwork really low.

Being a real Bonsai fan, I tried to integrate the a lot of free space under my rock work and overhanging coral edges. This photoshop image of one of my fantasy aquariums was in my mind when I built this rock formation

Although I like this design with lots of space, I did want to have more fun with lots of corals. I personally like the middle field, nough but not too much rock work.

Maybe one day I will actually build this set up with one Bonsai formation in the middle. Maybe a ELOS Midi in my office.

Corals are growing very fast in good conditions...it's really "Bonzaï work" to keep a reef like this! Frags every weeks!! :)

From one ozi to another.
That is awesome. Your designer brain must kill you lol.
I now have to research those companies and methods you use.

Didn't have the same camera from work. Will update soon with a camera so colours are realistic like last time. Cheers

Friend, congratulations for the beautiful Reef, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, like to see new photos.

Just saw, and read the whole thread. That is a nice complete system. The corals look amazing. Nice clean lines of the system.

Wow, just when I think I've seen my favorite tank ....., I just got done reading your whole thread and your "little slice of the ocean" is breathtaking!!;)
