I too, am curious to see if the eel was found. Losing an animal and not finding it is the absolute worst thing.

A 6" eel could definitely be hiding anywhere. Heck, my 18" greyfaced sometimes disappears on me.

Well sorry everyone, after me thinking the eel had magically disappeared and months go by I have come across the corpse of a mummified very crispy eel, apparently he slithered in between a chest I have and a cardboard cutout. Sorry for the long wait in the story but if you ever lose an eel search every tiny nook and cranny until you find them. You do not want a mummified eel believe me!
