Inspired by Mike C’s soft coral tank . Coming along pretty well I think . I’m always on the lookout for toadstools and specifically thick finger leathers right now if you have anything to sell or trade send me a PM . What do think of my tank?

Looking good! Mike Cs softie tank is one of my all time favorites. I started my 180 with the intention on being nearly all soft corals but I strayed from that. I'm now beginning to sell off most sps and lps.

Looks great. What about adding a colt for nice movement.
Thanks . Still got a lot of growing in to go and I’ll be happy If it’s half as nice as mikes tank . Been looking for a piece of colt to add and some things I’ve seen in mikes tank videos that I don’t even know what they are . Thick yellow finger leather he had is my mission ,

I looked back at his old posts. I think one person bought that whole yellow finger coral from him. We have to find out who that mystery person is

Mike dropped off the map . I have a piece of pink sinularia from marine farmers lineaged back to mikes tank . It’s literally the only coral in my tank struggling. It just won’t get happy . Maybe Pablo knows from marine farmers .

oh no that coral is on my wish list. hopefully it will do good in my seahorse tank.

I have a frag also from Pablo. Struggled for several years. Just recently has taken off. Positioned lower light but high flow.

I’m sure it’s something in my tank not the coral itself I just can’t figure out what working in bringing my nutrients down a hit my phosphates are on the higher side and I know that people say softies like “dirty water” but in my experience they looks healthier in cleaner water so I think that the pink sinularia is just more sensitive to high nutrients.

I have I think the same one and it’s in higher light and higher flow. Also right now nutrients are pretty high nitrates around 40 and phosphates around .2 and it is very happy. I have also had it in lower nutrients in the past and it looked equally happy. Try higher light and flow

Here’s mine from Marine Farmers. I thought I had lost it for several months battling nasty hair algae. Turns out the plug just was knocked off the rack. It has probably doubled in size the past six months. Happy I didn’t lose it. It does pulse every so often but not like a Xenia. A little slower polyp retraction/open.
