I am new to the saltwater hobby and I have a 40 gallon reef tank. My tank is almost 6 months old and I am just starting to add corals. So far so good. I am trying to be patient when adding things to my tank and am already looking to upgrade in about a year to a 120g.

My son told me about this site
and I am glad he did. He has been in the hobby for a few years and is my go to for help but it is nice to have others to ask when he isn't available. For instance, he forgot to tell me to calibrate my Refractometer and I had my salt level too low. Thankfully it wasn't so low that anything other than a torch died. Expensive lesson. I have since adjusted my salt level and all other corals seem to be doing well. I have started with the easy hearty corals like Pulsing Xenia, Kenya Tree & Dunkin.
