just got back from vacation. everything looks pretty good but I still do have dinos but somehow not as much as before so I do not think I am going to change much unless I see an increase in the next couple days

Just did a water change.

Alk is now 7.3
Calc is high at 460, turned the doser off to slowly drop to 420 where I want it.

Still have dinos but as of now theyre not killing or at least I cant see effecting the corals so I am just going to keep basting and go from there. I wish I could get rid of them

Keep after those NO3 and PO4 levels – keep them from hovering around zero.

Potassium nitrate and phosphate are the usual dissolved nutrients that folks add.....feeding has decidedly less effect.

Brightwell and Seachem both sell N and P fertilizers, but you can also DIY them if you're into that. (They aren't expensive to begin with though....I'd use what's convenient and locally available.)

so everything has been going great still. I also picked up a couple pieces from TL Reefs, recommend to everyone! Prices are great for what you get. I got 3 colonies and some frags, very very happy with what I got.

It looks very similar but it is a wild piece, so I cannot say for certain and wont sell it as so once I frag it in a couple months

How did you get the NJRC member thing? I am a member too, but unfort never get to go to anything since i live in PA

So I really want a sohal tang or an achilles tang but I am worried with the other tangs I have.

What do you guys think?

And what other tangs do u have now? In a 180 depending on what tangs u have I wouldn't go more then 4-5 tangs

cant figure it out. I live in Allentown, I will let you know when I frag it.

I have a purple tang, yellow tang, powder blue, kole tang.

Also thinking about a white tail bristletooth

Yea I wouldn't with all those tangs ESP the powder blue ona as well they are mean

But it's ur tank and each fish has a different personality so if u think it's possible then go for it

Luckily it was never real bad but I still have them unfort. But everything else is going good so I really dont wanna change anything

my powder blue is probably the calmest fish I have. The yellow tang is the meanest

If you add any more tangs just be sure to use an acclimation box, I use it when adding any fish. In the last few months I added Chevron, Naso and a Fowleri tang, minimal aggression once released into the display tank which already had a Purple, Blond Naso and Desjardini tang

I was thinking about getting one to do this. How long did you leave it in the box?
