I Have an sps dominated tank that I've started to dose with vinegar and kalkwasser. Its only been a month since dosing. Everything looks good and ph is reading 8.24 at its highest. Is this a good method for long term and is there any advice from someone using this method?

Yes linewater with vinegar is good at keeping alkalinty and calcium at a balanced ratio lomg term.

But you may eventually need to resort to two part or a calcium reactor to keep up with calcification rates as limewater is based mainly on evaporation unless you make a slurry.

It's a perfectly fine method if it can keep up with alkalinity demand, but I used both and chose to dose them separately for better control over the amounts of each and the timing of the dosing. :)
