I went with 2 viparspectras. A cheap wave pump for circulating an ehiem 250watt to add in addition to the 150watt for thw tank. I still nee to make baffles for the 29 gallon tank unless I find another wat to handle the layout. I plan on my current tank going to the left and overflowing into the low boy. Then the low boy into the 29g. The 29 would have three chambers like the 20 long sump on my current set up. I wish the 20 long would just work but I really cut it close with the over flow.

So I have a bunch on stuff arriving this week. I do not know if I will be ready but here is to hoping I can move everything this weekend. I had my pump fail for my algae reactor and my uv sterilizer so its replacement will be arriving. I have two lights coming, a wave pump, a heater, a ph test kit to verify that the seneye slide is accurate, A backup alk kit. I think that is it. I plan on using the existing sump and just having an over flow container beside the existing sump since it has an overflow. Probably going to pick up a jebao cross flow pump as well.

So I swapped a channel on one dosing pump to pump some distilled vinegar into the tank during the day to keep the ph where I want it. Pretty sure there are no issues with this. Also think I realized what the problem is with my Birdsnest. I have been walking the no3 up and now have it around 8ppm. It shouldn't be an issue but it is the only real change other than the ph and I have been maintaining it with no change in behavior for the colony. So maybe it is my warning sign the no3 is getting high. I am still waiting on my ICP test but since I have seen a change in the BN I stopped using the red sea trace colors additives.

Forgot to add some of the build pics. I don't have any of the move. To much going on to care about pics.
The process started sSunday at 9:30am and ended at 2am. I made 20g of salt after bumping my alk up to 8.1 from 7.5 over a week. Then I leak tested the new tank. And when it was good started filling. Inbetween filling the last ten gallons I used a 29g to hold water from the 40g and stage the corals. Had a heater and powerhead in the 29g to prevent stress. I seperated the tang from the 40g to put him in the frag tank since it will give him more space to move. He did well and is eating fine. Realized that the sump went into the old stand through the top and that wasn't an option for removing it. Had to use the reciporcating saw a bit. I was going to use the 29 as the new sump but decided not to since I had a bulkhead on the sump from previous use. I have an overflow container to prevent spills now. Not the best set up but since the frag stand is low I wanted as much space as possible. I think it came out well I let the light go over the old tank for a day and handled it the yesterday along with cleaning. I have some thing left like adding the rest of the water. Hopefully will be done in the next two days. I also have to add the frag rack but pretty much done.

Added two turbo snails, 10 cerith, 10 astrea, 10 red leg hermits, a new no name BN frag, and an unknown acro frag. Plus a pedestal rack in the center of the tank. I changed the overflow to a diy and talk about noise reduction. The params are on point as well. Alk is 8.2, ca is elevated from the move but at 450, mg at 1340, no3 at 4ppm, temp at 79.2, and salinity at 1.026. Ph leveling out at 8.36 overnight and hitting 8.44 during the day.
Guess I have to retitle the thread to Sps Dominant Breeder Frag System or Frankentank.
