That's a beauty! Hope it does well for you this time around!

Well, my juicy fruit is having a hard time.
Started to show parts of skeleton this week.
Parameters all good, no swings recently.
I circled in red the parts.

First time i'm having troubles with a palawanensis

That orange passion is stunning Sam!
Yeah, on the same page than you.
Bought the frag from a nearby shop, and later found out the guy who supply the shop.
He got a 400g sps dominated, really kind, we traded a few frags 2 weeks ago.
Spare op, wd and a few pieces i didn't had before.
11 frags total if i'm counting right.

Hey Sam. I don't know why it took me 2 years to find your build thread! Beautiful tank! Sorry for the latest loss.

PS: I see you post locally from time to time lol.

You have a gift sir!
Thanks, kind of you
The reef is not at his best since last year, hoping things get back in order at some point.
I might have taken things for granted, this reef was doing really great with minimal maintenance and 3 big angels…
well i'm back in the roller coaster of ups and downs lol

6th time the charm right? RIGHT?

I have high hopes for this frag, it came from a healthy colony and my setup is doing better lately, despite cyano coming back with a vengeance.
I was clear of it since spring 2020.

The little reef tonight

The new aquascape is wet since last week-end, so far so good.
The water is less clear than usual and algae are starting to cover the rocks but the corals are in good shape and the consuption of kh is on the rise for the first time since last november.

I'm dosing zeovit fwstop since 2 weeks (just to boost the acros, haven't seen any fw) and this might be anecdotal but my colony of blue tort is slowy healing the dead spot it had since last winter.

The new scape is getting covered in algae as you can see in the previous post, i added 3 tuxedo urchins last week and they’re starting to make a dent in it.
No3 tend to bottom out again, i might start to dose nitrates or feed coral sprint (fauna marin).

Little update
The reef is doing fine, kh consumption is on the rise (went from 60ml/d to 145ml/d in 6 months).
Lost one of the new frags in july (mattv rainbow envy) but the rest is in great shape.
Few progression shots

Nice....Very nice. OMG....Look at the growth on the Papi!!

I am toally jealous about your Papi Chulo. It's a beatiful SPS species...very unique and head turner. I got one a while ago and it was my favourite. This is as far as I got before it died due to an alk spike. Haven't been able to find a replacement.

Such a nice piece, my colony was really stunning (grown from a frag bought back in 2019).
Went rtn last year, this new frag is a trade i made with someone who had one of mine (since then he lost his colony, so i'll give him a new one once he got his system back on track)
Benefits of propagation

You could check with Adam at fraggarage, he has it listed on his website and so far i only had good experience doing buisness with him.

Thanks for the tip. I just checked the web site. None in stock. Darn...you got me excited. Maybe one day your colony won't fit in your tank and you'll be fragging. Wishful thinking on my side, but you never know.
