My squamosa clam giving birth....sorta.

lol, not sure if anyone has ever seen this before but I finally got some pictures of my midnight clown in his home. Funny thing is that the clam does not mind at all.

Its a a junior football sized clam and the clown is about 2 inches. Sorry about the dirty glass.

No the clam will not eat the clown. But I really don't think its good for the clam to have a clown swimming in there.

I have a football sized squamosa and a large tomato clown who have been together for 6+ years. She is actually so territorial about the clam that she will nip at you when you try to clean the tank. The clam has actually closed with her in there before. There is no harm in the two of them being together. I'll try to get a picture of them tomorrow for you

No, the clam doesn't even flinch because of the clown. They definitely have some kind of weird relationship going on. The clown definitely tries to fend off any other similar sized fish that comes within a few lengths of the clam.

Definitely photosynthetic, stays really wide and expanded to catch the light its under. Certainly doesn't mind the clown wiggling around in and on top of it. Very odd but cool to watch.
