My Tailspot has a death wish

No worries he's not in danger. He just recently started waiting in one of the PH's for the Black Worms. As soon as the pumps shut off he makes a beeline to one of them eats some Algae film off of it and waits inside for the Black Worms to hit the water. Once he gets a Black Worm he retreats back to the Toadstool. Pumps never shut off in normal use and I turn them back on in feed mode and check before I do. Shocked me first time I saw him peeking out of there.

I know someone else who’s fish did that, but I think it was a clown. He always swam out on his own but one day he didn’t and it turned back on and shredded the poor little guy. Hope yours makes better decisions!
