My tang got stuck to the filter help!!!!

What can I do to help my fish? He got stuck to the filter and lost his pectoral fin. He is only a baby tang and is 1 inch long. The filter isn't that power full either. He seems like he can make it so what do I do. Can he survive with one fin? Will he grow it back? Please help I really love this fish.

He is out and swimming which is great so my question now is how can I help him and will it grow back?

Give it time. Either it will regrow, or it won't and he'll have some character and a "this one time I..." story to tell to all the new fish he meets..

Is there a reason he got stuck to the filter? A fish shouldn’t get stuck unless it is already unhealthy or something is wrong.
If the whole fin was lost, it is unlikely that it will grow back. Many fish can live without a pectoral fin though, not sure on tangs specifically (they are tough though), but I do have a silver dollar (cousin to piranha) and it has been without a fin for 5 years and no problems.
