I recently set up a new 55 gallon (4ft) reef tank. This is my first reef tank, but ive had a 55 gallon planted aquarium for years.
After doing alot of research I started ordering stuff here any there for approximately 3 month

Return pump 700gph
Circulation pump 900 gph
30 gallon sump building supplies
Hang on double CPR overflow
Self made spray bar.
EBAY REEFBLOK 144W LED (2)
20W UV LIGHTS (2)
Sea clone skimmer
Api test kits "I know :( "

I built a 30 gallon sump/fuge : cut pvc 1/2 , phosphate filter,filters, and carbon bags.
Fuge: 20 lb rock and some macro algae (various)

The Dt tank has a 2.5 inch aragonite bed with 40lbs FULLY CURE LR covered in all kinds of stuff and 45 LB base rock approx.

After the tank ran for 3 weeks I started adding stuff :

DIY
Sump canopy
Diy rapid led dimmable drivers for my leds
Reefangel plus analog

And I just ordered my jaboe wp40 and a dc6000 pump. Cant wait to make some waves! :)

I plan on adding some more royal blue leds to get a more 2:1 ratio B:W from rapidleds

My reef inhabitants include :
12 hermits
4 turbo grazers
Lps and sps ans soft corals
Several mollusk
Scarlet cleaner shrimp
Peppermint shrimp

Fish :
Blue green chromis
2 clowns
1 orange firefish
1purplw fire fish
Scooter blenny
Gold stripe goby

I want to add a flasher or fairy wrasse soon.

Great start and looking good!

Here's a better updated photo. Also a few other coral pics im not sure the name of these corals so any ID help is very appreciated. Also can someone explain to me how to acclinate corals to a certain depth in a tank. I have several sps that I received from a local reef enthusiasts which had a low nutrient tank running and using radion to power. He told me to out them in low light but im new and unfamilar with the generalization of what "low light" means .

thats going to look sexy when it purples up!
try and find a watchman goby to go with your pistol!
everything is looking great!

Actually I did find one . He just wont come out for a picture. He is about 2 inches long . The pistol shrimp found his way into my gold-stripe gobies hole and now the goby is ****** . I hear the pistol firing off every 5 minutes .
