This is my sons tank. I am taking care of it while he is away at college. We had a crash about 4 months ago. We lost everything but about 3 corals and the yellow goby.

We have replaced the mated clown fish. (Very sad about that loss.) But new ones are aqauborn and raised. A one frag of yellow trumpet.

The corals are closed up because my hand was just in there.

If we win the R2R WWC contest it will get him back and then some!!!

Sorry about the crash.
Hoping @WWC will pick you guys or better your son as he's planning his future in College as we speak.
Which college is he attending?

Ben

Thank you, I hope he wins also.
My son Riley is in his first year at Indiana University. He is studying microbiology. He loves the sciences. Has always excelled in them. He has been a critter lover since he was a baby. We would study and read together a huge animal book encyclopedia. He knew most fish names before he was five. Basic names that is. Every Summer he would have a kiddy swimming pool and would catch turtles and such and make a habitat for them. He was always careful about their treatment or care. We would return them to the exact spot he caught them at the end of the season. We would mark them to see if he would catch them again the next year.
We had a freshwater tank in his room. He also had snakes, lizards, gekos. You name we've had it. He always wanted a saltwater tank. In his Senior year we bought the basics for him for Christmas. He was and is very proud of the tank. He is still pretty defeated about the crash. Doesn't even want to talk anything to do with tanks at the moment. Very heartbreaking for me to see. It's also hard not to be able to talk "tank" with him.
I have posted a photo from when he was little. Please don't reuse it in anyway. Some day I may want to enter it in a few contests.
We live in a county that has over 100 lakes. We are very conscious of our rivers, lakes, water here.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your community!
