awesome would love to be able to build/remodel a home around the tank and our family instead of making our stuff fit in a home.

This chunk missing from the front porch has been annoying to look at so I decided to fix it, Periclis did most of the work.

I'm so jealous/in awe of anyone that can do this kind of work. My partner and I are the world's least handy people so when we buy our house we'll have to buy something in great shape or be prepared to spend lots of money on remodels. Congrats on the house! Can't wait to see the tank and tank room.

Cheers,

Wow, thanks for the compliment, I guess I kind of take for granted that I have the ability to do this type of work. I absolutely love my job, not only being my own boss but working with my hands every day, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing bathrooms, kitchens, and floors is so rewarding. Although, I have to be honest, it's not as fun spending on my own home as compared to being paid to do the work....this stuff isn't cheap......

Man, that's awesome that you are teaching the kids how to learn to do those things! Keep up the good work!

Thanks bro, I am lucky that my boys share my love for working, I took Yanni to work with me Saturday morning and I he capped off a vanity water supply pipe with just verbal instruction, I was so super proud of him.

Well, asthe wife was working on the adjacent room the kitchen, a pannel of the ceiling fell downand basted the house with a lovely coating of blown insulation.

We decided to go ahead and pull all the sheet rock, so to keep us safe we went full Breaking Bad!

After all the insulationgot cleaned up, I pulled down this wall that separated the kitchen from the living room.

The wall is now gone, I just got 2) 2" x 10" x 12' lvl support beams that will be recessed in the ceiling. I'll cut the ceiling joists this weekend.

Following. Admire handy people since I'm not one.

Lots of work going on! Awesome getting your kids in on it too! Many take it for granted because they can just hire someone but "handy work" is a valuable skill. Looks like he's enjoing it which is great.

We put in a long day today, we got the joists cut and set the support beams in place but only had enough time to set half of the joist hangers set, hopefully I'll have time after work tomorrow to finish up the hangers and set some jack-studs to finish the wall project.

The we will be pulling all the subfloor to run new electrical and plumbing......fun times!
