I would like to share with you my recent upgrade on my 110 gallon tank. My tank now has twin return pumps, one jebao 12000 DCT and a Varios 4 return pump. Both have 1 inch pipe and return height is 6 feet from the sump. The jebao puts out 562gph and the Varios 4 puts out 510gph.
With the redundancy of 2 pumps, I will always have flow, heat, and 2 part solutions flowing through the tank. I also have 2 GFCI outlets. Both pumps are on different GFCIs. So I have the peace of mind if one trips, the other pump is still pumping.
