So its been a loooong road for me. Starting off in a 27g hexagon.. then a 55g hexagon and having lost 6 fish in one day from my friend who was watching them during christmas last year.. to an ich outbreak that started wiping out most of fish besides damsels and such.
I moved to my 135g tank 3 months ago.. lost fish in there from ich as well tired of losing hundreds in fish.. i took all my corals out put them in a 20g and proceeded with hyposalinity... i did hypo for 2+ months.. Building up my fish to what i wanted. Then one day a friend got out of the hobby and gave me 6 more fish.. The tank is kinds stocked too much but i have 0 aggression and ill keep an eye on the nitrates.
I raised salinity 4 days ago and i still havent seen a single white spot come back.. I dipped all my corals twice... and finally placed them in my tank. I just hung up my t5 fixtures ( a 24 inch and 48 inch) and finally my tabk is done and looks so beautiful.. to me at least and thats all that matters.
Here is a few pics of it. Hopefully i can enjoy the tank without serious issues.
The only thing i havent put in my tank is my condy anemone. Im still 50.50 on him.. i have two larger clownfish who seem to be a pair and 40 diff coral frags.. Unsure if i should risk it.. maybe just keep the anemone in my 5g tank or somrthing.. ive had it for 2 months now and feed it weekly.
So here it is... Took me 7 months to get here.. alpt of work time money.. learning.. Im of course addicted to corals and ill get more.. lol
