Oh my. Agreed. Bigtime.Welcome to Reef2reef.
I am confused. Are you asking a question? I counted at least 9 fish. All in a 20g? What are the fish in there? That's way overstocked.
Could be... but I am not too sure about it. The clownfish doesn't look real (OP, is it real?), so then they would have no fish in the tank.Unless feeders for the anemones.......
Looks like someone is shoreline fishing from the tidepools. I don't recognize the minnows, perhaps they are brackish?Could be... but I am not too sure about it. The clownfish doesn't look real (OP, is it real?), so then they would have no fish in the tank.
The clown is fake 100% sure about that......Could be... but I am not too sure about it. The clownfish doesn't look real (OP, is it real?), so then they would have no fish in the tank.
Yeah. KrisReef is probably right about the fishing. I don't recognize those fish either. The clown is fake 100% sure about that......
I was thinking about that since it says OP was from Gulfshores... But this looks like a Pacific tidepool, not Caribbean... I could gone with kelp, too, but given the plastic plants in the tank, I assumed that was the look OP was hoping for."Plants don't live in salt water, unless they're algae. "
You forgot about seagrasses
Would love to hear what you think OP hasn't grasped......cause that tank looks ok to me, for what it is.....Sooooo many thoughts. I’m going to be nice and just suggest you absolutely do not put anything else into that tank and go spend at least a few hours researching “how to keep a reef tank” on google. From what I can see, there are some extremely basic things you have not grasped in setting up this tank. This hobby is not just freshwater with salt.
OK…Would love to hear what you think OP hasn't grasped......cause that tank looks ok to me, for what it is.....
You are probably right. I’m just being a reef snob. Not gonna start a long reply, but:
That tank, for what the OP most likely wanted, looks ok to me.
Nothing wrong with HOB filters, (which BTW is the cause for the bubbles you assume as air stone), and he has a small power head/pump. The anemone in the sand bed is ok as some prefer living in sand....and the rock work for what they need to do. As an anemone tank, this is perfectly fine.
Just trying to be nice.....

the bubbles are from a diver I have that blows bubbles out his butt
