My current inhabitants include
One clown
One firefish
One canary wrasse
One blue green chromis
About 10blue hermits
8turbo snails
3 nassarius snails

Green star polyp frag
Pulsing Xenia
And some zoas

Flow wise I have the standard return pump
1-aqueon 250gph
And
1-maxijet 160 gph

I've exchanged the bio balls for a fuge setup with chaeto

These hqi's are a pain with the temp so I have a large fan blowing over the water right now.

Got my 1-15th jbj chiller on the way
Along with my ato
Can't wait to really get this baby going

I do 2 water changes a week as I plan on having a heavy bio-load

May look into a new skimmer the stock ones are pretty rough -.-

More pics coming soon

Hopefully I can start keeping up with all you guys!

Im Using the Tom aqua lifter, I originally had it in the cabinet but it wasn't a strong enough pump to reach the top of the tank so I glued a clip to its top and hung it from the back of chamber one

I then looped the tubes a few times and now the water flows perfectly!
I know it's a little messy looking from the back but you can't really see it!

I also re did the aquascape
I like it a lot more its more open and hopefully my watchmen gobies will find that darn pistol shrimp more easily

I have the 29g Coralife BioCube and also got rid of my bioballs and converted chamber 2 to a refugium with chaeto. My tank is now going on 7 weeks post cycling. No fish yet but I already have a mess of frags going mostly zoanthids, one frogspawn, one rock anemone, xenia, star polyps, mushrooms, cup coral, gorgonians, favia, ricordia and newly acquired duncan. also have macroalgea in display. II check my chemistries twice a week and have been very good steady for the past four weeks with weekly water changes.
Your tank looks great! I am just a little impatient to see mine fill in.

What's a refugium with chaeto?

Refugiums provide supplemental filtration in marine aquariums by employing natural filtration methods to efficiently process excess nutrients that can compromise aquarium water quality.
In my case I use the macroalgea chaeto as the natural filtration. You will need to add a light source and turn it on when display lights go out and off when display lights go on.
Hope this helps.
