My test results for today

Trouble with reading the results on ammonia an nitrates.

25-35 IMO.

i'm thinking
PH -8.0
ammonia - .5 or 1
n2 -2.0 2.5
n3 -5.3
im hoping that ph stays at 8.o and ammonia and nitrate and nitrate foes down to zero in a by thursday.

What I find that helps is , hold the tube next to the color card. Rather than matching them, squint your eye a bit and look the difference in contrast of the colors.

Looks like a new tank cycling.

Looks like 4 of ammonia and 5 on nitrite and 20 on nitrate

That looks like a dark green to me on the ammonia

But really you should have a better test kit because api isn't a good test kit at all really

yes it is. thank you. I'm still trying to get the quarantine tank setup. but being on call and I just got home about an hour ago and plan on being called back in any time now. so looking at computer screens all day my eyes are shot for the day. and just can't determine the color differences today.
