I'm running it in a innovative marine lagoon 25 gallon shallow tank 24"x20"x12" seems to do great so yes one light is enough if your in consideration of the jbj 20 frag tank or the innovative marine lagoon 25 gallon or anything smaller.
Again my opinion is just my thoughts.
Pros- nice sleek design
Small footprint
Perfect for nano tanks
Cons- One light source area (meaning there will be areas that are in shadows)
$100 controller add-on (for lighting schedule)
2x Light knobs control intensity and color an upgrade from the 150s.
All-in-all it's a nice strong light for the price but if you have a medium sized tank like 30-50 gallons definitely recommend Kessil 360we's. The spread of the a160we's is about 20-24" from about a foot above the water and that would be the baseline with good penetration and coverage.
