I purchased this torch awhile back. havent moved it often but the pic shown i just moved it and did a water change. Is it the type of torch it is? I prefer the long tentacles.

Have the tantacles ever come out longer? Weird looking Torch.

Theres something the torch doesnt like for it to not extend longer. It could be the lighting, too much flow or something else.

Well I have one that looks like the OP's that has split a few times but if have a gold tip torch that is acting like the the OP's green torch.

I had one do the same thing for a couple weeks, i do a water change and upped my feedings for my coral. then i also reset my lighting hours just incase.

actually both corals in the pics are torches...the one on the left seems to look like a gold torch.

One on the right is a Frogspawn. If you look closely you can see a couple of the tips split into 2.

Yea one on the right is a purple tipped frogspawn. The left is a torch from unique corals. It has extended but still has thick tentacles. Nothing like normal ones I have seen with the thin stringy ones

same thing happens to me from time to time. less flow i'd say! but im no expert.

I think what you have on the left is a Euphyllia Cristata. AKA Grape Coral.

Problem solved. It was the new position he didn't like. It's open but still has fat tentacles. I guess it's just the type it is.
