Not too sure bared bottom is the way to go, still pondering. Hopefully my light will show up soon. Going take this slow, no coral till all the rocks have a nice coraline algae growth.

Nice, yea I have a section in my sump just like that. I've been debating using that section or taking out my skimmer and converting it's section to a fuge. I was leaning skimmer because lighting overhead of the sock section opens up the top and makes more noise. Now you have me thinking....

I was gonna take out the skimmer, but found this growth light that fit on my door. Getting tire of replacing the sock

Thank you

My light will be here Monday. Unfortunately, I forgot to order the mounting kit. But James from Orphek was kind enough to take care of that for me. Good guy to deal with :)

Can't wait to add sticks to the tank :)

Just installed my 5 Gallon ATO Sump. Losing about 0.5 gallon per day; this should save me some labor.

Looks good.
I am assuming the smaller tank is plumbed in with the sump? How do you have it plumbed in?

Yes, the overflow from the smaller tank piped into the sump (the greg color hose) . Not too pretty but here is a pix
