my very first reef tank 29gallon

I wouldnt count the torch out yet mine looked dead from a temp swing and took a week to look better now he looks amazing. How dose yours look as of now?

well the torch is dead and my roommate is moving out at the end of the month. One thing you don't do is mess with my tanks.

Well also my orange spotted shrimp goby jumped during the "Big Freeze" also so that made 2 casualties. I added a blue spotted watchman today and added net top I made with bird netting.

My acan is a freaking pig there are only 3 polyps on it but each one will devour darn near a whole Mysis shrimp every day. My maze brain eats like a starving Ethiopian child also I will post a pic of that one tomorrow.

So I got a random cheap leather coral with a pack I got and was wondering if I was right to say it is a toadstool leather. It hasn't opened up yet just got it today.

That's what it looks like to me. Salifert flat worm exit kills the adults.

well im sad to say my black and white clown has died he has been swimming vertically for a few days now and never really "thrived" I kinda knew it was coming but I guess it was inevitable. Its my first saltwater fish to loose. Nothing else is affected and all water parameters are good. I will be replacing him tomorrow with a regular ocellaris clown I really hope my other is not aggressive I will try to get the a small one in hopes that it is a male, that would be the best bet when adding another clown right? The black and white and my other ocellaris never really paired up.

I was also looking into getting new bulbs for my current 2 bulb t5 HO fixture and was wondering what a good selection of bulbs would be.

Its coming along nicely. Wish I could start getting more purple coralline.
