My story is similar to many others. I ordered my Waterbox 220.6 in July and finally received it last week! Such a beautiful tank it is. I had a get together and my friends came over to help build the stand one day, and load the tank 2 days later. We were so pumped to get to the tank and sump. First,we unload the sump and what do we see, a scratch on the front! I'm a bit discouraged at shis point but I figure, not the end of the world, WB will take care of it, let's get the tank out. We get the tank out, remove the plastic and you know what comes next, a scratch on the inside of the glass. At this point I'm dejected. So Monday, i wake up to call Waterbox and guess what, now they announce they are sending the Hydra 32s instead of the 26. I'm like cool, my lights aren't here yet, they'll give me those. Do they? Nope! They say even though the lights haven't arrived to me yet, they were shipped and I cant get the new ones. If I decided to cancel, they would charge me a %25 cancellation fee. So how do you think I'm feeling at this point with a scratched tank, a scratched sump, and cant upgrade to the new lights. ticked!!
Anyhow, they have sent out a replacement sump and tank which should be here tomorrow. Now I have to find folks to help on a Monday get in the house which is going to be difficult.
So, if you live in the Chicagoland area and want the 220.6 tank (167 gallons, 72x25x24) with a slight scratch, a glass sump with a slight scratch, 4 Hydra 26 lights and mounts, and have 4 people to come get it, PM me I have a deal for you. You would need your own plumbing and stand.

Wow sorry for your headache! Wish i was closer id jump on that deal!!

Sorry for you troubles. I can tell you that regardless of the initial headache, you will absolutely love the WB tank. I own two WB tanks and love the quality and craftsmanship. Welcome to the family :)

Why would you care about a scratch on the sump?
I get it, the sump will end up dirty, scratched, etc. However, if the sump on my 230.6 had come in scratched, I would not have been happy either. And then to have one on the tank as well...

When you spend $3000+ for a brand new system, you expect there to NO blemished or problems out of the box. I'm glad Waterbox took care of it. I LOVE my 230.6!
