Hello this is my 3 year old Reef. I’ve recently changed it up a little and thought I would post it for everyone.

About the system setup:
The stand is home-made from stone, cut to size and bolted to a steel stand that I removed two legs and shortened with an angle grinder.
The sump is 120L litres.
Running a carbon reactor and GFO reactor both home-made with pumps and bottles.
I drilled the waterbox twice behind the baffle, one as the main drain and one emergency and it’s surprisingly perfect.
Running an XR30 G6 Blue
MP10 stream pump
6 stage 400GPD RODI filter
Aqua Forest salt
Red Sea mesh lid
Tunze Skimmer 9001
Reef Factory Level Keeper
Reef Factory Dosing Pump X4
Filtration is a mix between reusable filter socks and filter floss depending on what’s clean or on hand.

I would love to hear your thoughts or any additions I could make, upgrades etc.
the tank is just over 3 years old now and I would like to do more.

wow, nice tank and
that stand looks “daring” , what are those legs made of?
(I see you used a grinder but curious about the material and coating

The legs are solid steel, probably about 3mm thick and hollow, it was already painted. It can rust but it’s pretty dense material and I am pretty confident I could sand it and touch it up when I need to.
It feels pretty sturdy but the legs can be independently turned 360 degrees so it’s kind of tedious positioning the legs if I were to move it to another spot in the house.
