My wife bought me my dream fish!

ingtar_shinowa · Mar 29, 2012

I let her keep the return this year to pay off a vacation we took at a ski resort and with some of the leftovers she used her woot-off kung fu and snagged my my dream fish off of Diver's Den. Well ok its not a gem tang but i like this guy almost as much. A hybrid blackXscopas tang!!!! Its almost 6" so I'm not too worried about agreesion from my other two (Lavender and Tomani)

Nice. The only way I get anything big for my tank is to split our return. Lol

So she's the one that outgunned me on the trigger finger for that fish? Congrats! It's a beautiful specimen!

Very nice looking fish!

btkrausen · Mar 30, 2012

Nice catch. I have one in my tank and he's awesome. Mine looked exactly like yours when I bought him, but lost all his lines so now he looks just like a black tang, haha. Here is a pic of mine when I first got him...he's completely black now.

skinz78 · Mar 30, 2012

Sweet! Post up some pic's when you get it in!

ingtar_shinowa · Mar 30, 2012

PIA had one?!

Russellaqua · Mar 30, 2012

That's a great looking fish! I'm generally not into tangs, but this one is awesome.

ingtar_shinowa · Mar 30, 2012

So far he looks great. He is huge, and even though I have lights out the lavender tang is not happy. Blackeard is just sort of hanging out and just gets big, and the lavender swims off in a huff.

ingtar_shinowa · Mar 30, 2012

A quick pic of him in the tank, obviously lights off and no fash its the best I can do... sorta lol.

I got mine from PIA...but it was sometime last year. They get them in often.

dsmhero · Mar 30, 2012

They have some good stuff but DD has a better guarantee. Honestly I would have gotten it from either site.

Billings for me. I once impulse bought a clown trigger in Missoula back in '05. It ate my snowflake eels best friend and 'it got real' Heading to Bozeman tomorrow to hang out with a reefing buddy.
