After 6 days of him not eating and staying in his den I think I have finally figured this out. I got him to finally eat live blackworms yesterday using a long turkey baster dropping the food right above him and in the hole. He wont come out of the hole more than an inch or two had keeps is den closed up most of the day. He can't see the food.

I ordered some Selcon to mix with his frozen food. I read this improves the blindness

Any advice on this to help him recover? Has anyone gotten them to recover?

Get him a mate, Ive heard that could make you go blind. J/K, how long have you had the fish?

I can't get a photo, he won't raise his head above the top fo the hole. I've had him for 7 months, he was fully quarantined and healthy. He will not leave his den at all.

He doesn't appear to be fully blind, he looks like he sees me moving but I am a large object. But when I release the live blackworms a couple inches away from him it seems like he cant see them. When I am able to steer the blackworms and essentially hit him in the face with them, he gobbles them up
