Purple, sailfin, powder blue, vlamingi and dussomieri are very fast growersA lil video update of my yurple. It's almost triple the size of when I got it.
Yessir indeed they are.Purple, sailfin, powder blue, vlamingi and dussomieri are very fast growers
I think so as well. It's interesting to watch ot develop. I feel that it's a nice hybrid of the parents colors. Body has the lateral lines of the purple with alternating light purple and yellowish lines up close. With yellow fins all around and purple outline around it with Ivory white scalpel on the tail. Super detailed in person ImoGetting better with age! Such an exciting time to be in the hobby with specimens like this. Thank you for keeping up updated on the progress!

Thank you! Around Half of the fishes in there are captive bred. I too like the lavender body. I low key was hoping for that.Thank you for sharing, I like the lavender body it has.
You have many beautiful fish, are any of the others also captive bred?

Yes they do. My LPS system is where most my tangs are. My Gem tang pair are hogs lol.Agreed. My tang gang grows fast; esp the blonde naso tang! However, mine is a 3” cube tank so I suspect their growth might be hindered after awhile. Tangs do need long tanks to realize their full potential.
Thank youGreat Looking FIsh!

Well let's see. My Purple masked angel, multibar angel, pair goldflake angel, majestic angel, Tigerpyge Angel, yurple tang. Had tiny regal angel and asfur angel but they was chased into the power head by bigger angels when introduced into the 260g. All of them were in qt systems for 3 months or more before going into the 260g display.Do you mind listing what is captive bred?
I am just curious because I saw captive bred fish take a lot of heat lately as being difficult/impossible/just die fish. I noticed quite a few fish in there I thought might also be captive and everything you have looks healthy and vibrant to me.
Did you do anything special for the captive bred fish? Grow them out in another system or did they just join the big guys? Maybe an acclimation box?
Got any photos?A lil video update of my yurple. It's almost triple the size of when I got it.

Let's see it brother. Would love to see the other ones that are out there in private collection.Love my yurple pang.
They were all introduced into the 260g a few days apart from each other from the qt systems. Started with the smallest to the most timid ones and the big ones last. For the most part they all get along fine. I notice they get annoyed at each other when they are hungry. I guess kind of like us humans lol. Thanks for sharing. Sorry you lost two. I figured aggression could be a hurdle. I have a little multibar. Love em! I need a bigger tank to get more.
Sorry about that. Here are a few stills I pulled from the videoGot any photos?
I keep hearing about the Yurple but unfortunately can’t see it (IPhones and videos don’t work well).
