When I got my zoa, it opened back up fine. About a week later, I tinkered with the light a bit and it like half closed up. I switched the light setting back and it hasn't reverted. Could it be that I haven't done a water change in a minute?

I'm a newbie(ish) so don't know anything -- only started zoas in January but they're all doing well so...
Any chance it's getting too much light?

...wait for experts

Could be a ton of things. What are your current water parameters? What's you lighting intensity? Are they in a high flow area of the tank? Are you feeding it properly?

Zoas prefer low flow and light. They can get used to brighter lights, but need to work their way up to that.
