Also at dusk the green and purple one(wasnt told a name so anyone with a ID feel free.) on the right are new about a week from the LFS there on a rock about 6"x4" so there a decent size. On the left is my favorite coral under the athiniclighting they glow bright orange there a little closed up in this shot though my lawnmower had just jetted off of them. He purches up on them sometimes and just hangs out for a little while.

heres a full front of my tank. I have more zoas to take pics of I'll post them tommorrow. Comments are welcome.

thanks frank a. Looking at my aquascape does anyone think i need more live rock or the tank would look better aquascaped differently or both? Because im running out of placement spots for corals and dont have a lot of options as far as waterflow and lighting go because the rocks are in a line pretty much with a few caves in a long short island setup. Also id like some opinions about my sandbed its about 4"-6" deep in someplaces tell me what you think and if i should do away with it or if the sands fine like it is. heres a older pic but the rocks and sand are still the same.

nice zoos!

i think your tank looks nice and you are doing a great job... but if it was me.....
i would say i think you need a little more rock. you could use a few little bigger pieces as base pieces and then the smaller ones for the top part. i guess with it all in a line is is sort of lacking something. how bout doing an l shape or maybe one medium size lagoon type on one side with one small mound on the other. really the possiblites are endless. just take your time and not get frustrated with it. lol. or you could do a few pillars. i did them and love it.

check out this link for a few ideas.

as far as sand goes its really preference. i used to have a dsb and when i upgraded to my new tank. i went with a 1-1 1/2 sand bed and LOVE it. i think it looks cleaner and nicer and doesnt seem to get as nasty.

Thanks for the insight ahayes13 im still looking for opinions though. The options right now are order more live rock and keep building the wall, rescape the tank with what i have, or both. Any comments are great let me know what you think would look better.

i think i would break it up into two sections, instead of one wall. would probably give a little more interest to the tank. i would say you would still need a little more live rock with doing two sections in the tank.
