My Zoanthid Seems to be Migrating

The zoanthid in the middle of the picture was added to the tank about 10 days ago. Since then it seems to be moving off the plug and onto the rock. Is this normal?

Some do, and some don’t. It’s perfectly normal to have happen.

That's pretty quick growth for ten days. Might want to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't end up taking over. Unless you think it's going to be your favorite zoa.

I bought a frag that grew 6-7 new heads in a week. Looked okay but wasn't my favorite (and they were really big heads, was scared I got tricked into buying scary palys- girlfriend is really paranoid about the palys). I ended up taking the frag back in to the LFS so I didn't have something else in the tank to worry about.
